The Best is Yet to Be!

I've always loved cards that had sewing on them. So, I thought that I would bust out my sewing machine and give it a try! This card is really simple, it might even be bordering on "plain", but I didn't want to cover the pattern paper. I think that it's way too cool to cover up with a bunch of embellishments! Any suggestions that you have to "jazz" up this card would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks for looking!
Supplies used: SU's "Love Matters" stamp set, Chocolate Chip cardstock, Old Olive cardstock, So Saffron cardstock, white embossing powder, brads, ribbon (I inked some white ribbon in my So Saffron ink pad), pp by MME-Bohemia (Blue/Red Paisley), and of course my sewing machine!

I love it just the way it is! Good for you in bringing out the sewing machine! I always cheat and do the faux thing! :)

Jami! It's not at all "plain" - it's PERFECT!! Love the stitching for sure, and you're right - that paper doesn't need much else added to it!

I think it's great as is - anything else and you lose the "focalness" of that awesome paper (I know that's not really a word, but you know what I mean, right?!?)
